Metropolitan campus KDU makes headway with accommodating new faculties from Kotelwala Defence University

The Metropolitan Campus KDU marked a great milestone in its history today by inducting of two ICT degree programme batches of FOT from Kotelawala Defence University to its premises and the inauguration ceremony was held today (30 Jan 24) with the participation of the Vice Chancellor Rear Admiral Dammika Kumara, other guests and Officials at KDU.

As of today, the undergraduates of Intake 39 and 40 ICT degree programme day scholars are to conduct their studies at this campus premises.

During the ceremony, the Rector Metropolitan Campus KDU, Air Commodore Rajinth Jayawardena expressed his gratitude to the Vice chancellor KDU for his timely decision to shift faculties into the campus for the effective utilization of its valuable facilities in order to create a safe and inspiring learning environment for all under graduates. Also to reach their goals and aspirations to the expected levels. 

The campus which is housed in a six storied building at the heart of the Colombo provides number of training programmes including some certificate to diploma level courses. This will be the first time that it accommodates students of a KDU degree programme.
