A leap towards promoting and enhancing the cultural diplomacy between Sri Lanka and Turkey

Her Excellency R. Demet Şekercioğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Sri Lanka, visited the Metropolitan Campus on 15 November 2023. The purpose of the visit to was to see the possibility of establishing the Türkiye Cultural & Language class room at this premises to promote cultural diplomacy of both countries.

During the visit. Her Excellency expressed her willingness to establish the said Türkiye Cultural & Language class room in the Metropolitan Campus, KDU and deeply appreciated the VC and his staff of KDU for the contribution towards the development of education in the country.

Further, Her Excellency is looking forward to have bilateral ties to develop language programs in order to enhance global connectivity through cultural diplomacy.
